A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business/Finance Transformation Project Manager who will manage all aspects of the integration of a Global Practice Management System. Reporting directly to the Transformation Director, You will be required to manage a large mixed skills team working with departments and officers across global locations as well as within the main business transformation team.
My client, a large professional services organisation with offices globally are implementing a new Global Practice Management System. The data and organisation structures within the new system are very different from the current systems and all the data will be transferring from the old to the new system will need to be assessed, cleansed, mapped to the new structures and then uploaded. This will cover clients, suppliers, fixed assets, general ledger, current accounts, tax reserves and HR information across all global offices and entities.
The role is responsible for providing project management capability to the transformation team to ensure that the team delivers the elements of the projects for which it is responsible on time and to the expected quality. The role will support the Transformation Director in ensuring that the local implications of the global projects are considered. The role requires the development and maintenance of agreed project plans, related files and documentation and management of project budgets. Effective preparation of reports on project deliverables, risks and the assessment of progress to schedule is also required. The consultant in this role must be able to present financial issues and changes in a non-technical way to senior business stakeholders. The role will include: Assessing, cleansing and mapping new structures and then uploading data and organization structures from the old system to the new system.
Relevant experience:
- Provide day to day management of the local project team of 25 (Accountants, ITBP and Administrators) and c150 worldwide.
- Facilitate workshops with finance and the business Process documentation
- Significant amount of experience in a project manager or similar role
- Experience in managing data conversion and integration on a large scale greenfield finance implementation within a regional role
- Experience of working on a large ERP implementation ideally within professional services
- Experience in a legal or professional services practice would be a significant advantage
- Experience in a large scale infrastructure change, business change, integration or merger would be an advantage
- Experience working on a high-pace, project based environment
- Proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Finance qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience
- Recognised project management qualification and accreditation such as PRINCE2, MSP, PMBOK, APMP or Agile would be helpful
