A global Media business based in the West End of London is recruiting a Head of Financial Controller job. This business is growing via acquisition and has strong growth plans for the next 5 years There is lots of change within the business and it is a great company if you are looking for career development and progression.

Key to this business is to promote brands though various methods of marketing to enhance their clients reputation in the market, You will be working for a brand with a global presence and one which has some of the biggest players in the retail, tech and leisure market as clients.

Your new role
As a Financial Controller you will be reporting into the Group Finance Director and be working closely with the Managing Director. Your role will be to manage the day to day activities of the finance function, which includes the group reporting, accounting and control activities across the business. You will also be responsible for the management of finance professionals. From a finance perspective your role will cover the production of monthly management accounts including profit and loss account, balance sheet, comparison to budget/ forecast and a short written commentary

What you'll need to succeed
You must be fully ACA//ACCA qualified with strong experience with ifrs and consolidations. Experience managing a team. Managed the roll-out and development of accounting systems and processes. You will come from a similar industry background and be keen to be pat of a global media business.
