Our client, a global business services company based in the Thames Valley, is looking to engage a highly commercial and analytical Head of FP&A to lead and direct the FP&A function in the UK business and provide crucial insight into business decisions.
This is a critical and highly influential role within their senior management team covering the provision of analytical support and challenge to all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all annual and strategic financial planning activities
- Lead the delivery of robust financial analysis to challenge business performance and drive profitability
- Build a true business partnering relationship with all areas of the business
- Continually evolve the reporting of business performance to reflect changes in the business environment
- Drive FP&A team performance, ensuring activities are prioritised with a focus on critical issues
- Lead and develop the FP&A team - 3 direct reports and 6 indirect reports
- Provide crucial support to the MD, FD and business as required
Candidate Profile:
Educated to degree level and should be a qualified accountant or potentially hold a MBA with a strategic and business planning background
- Previous experience in a highly commercial/FP&A role
- Experience working in a multinational company is desirable
- Excellent communicator and able to business partner
- Highly independent and agile - able to "hit the ground running"
- Have the gravitas, management abilities, immediate impact at board level and overall experience to influence across all business
