Greenwelgleeson are recruiting for the position of Senior Accountant / Client Manager for a growing practice with a base in Telford paying £25 - £32kThis person will be working directly under the partner and will be there to assist in setting up a new office over the next 18 months.
Basic tasks of the role will include but are not limited to
* Assisting director with the management of a portfolio of clients
* Preparation of accounts of sole traders, partnerships, companies and charities with detailed working papers
* Preparation of management accounts
* Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
* Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
* Preparation of forms P11D
* Bookkeeping from source records using Sage 50 Accounts and Xero
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Assisting client bookkeepers/accountants
* Clearing queries with clients
* Supervising and training less experienced staff
You will have a minimum of 3 years in practice specifically within the accounts prep environment, and be part qualified - qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
