Group Reporting Accountant

A fast growing Private Equity backed technology business is looking to hire a Group Reporting Accountant to their central London office. The business has year-on-year growth of nearly 50% over the last 4 years, and with further growth planned, there has never been a better time to join them on their journey to further cement their place as the number one global player in their industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake group consolidation, group financial statement preparation, internal controls and reviews, financial standards compliance and audits.
• Oversee the worldwide monthly closing process and corporate consolidation.
• Review all international controls, propose and lead implementation of new and amended control procedures and processes when applicable.
• Effectively manage change within the group and/or organization resulting from change processes, policies and/or acquisitions.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

• Degree level education
• Qualified accountant (ideally ACA / CPA)
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles in UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with AX and or TM1 Cognos; building compliant processes; utilizing financial applications to enhance and automate processes, reporting, analysis and controls highly desired.
• Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. The preparation of actual results through maintaining and developing systems and processes to produce actual results each month. This will include ensuring future developments are considered in good time to support comparative reporting and ensuring processes are documented to audit standard.
