A consultancy company based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their expanding team.
Duties to include:
*Assisting in the production of management accounts and other financial information, including preparation of journals.
*Providing assistance with the accurate reporting of variable analysis and business costs.
*Assisting with the production of the year-end balance, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reviews.
*Assisting with the production of audit packs.
*Agreeing & reconciling intercompany balances.
*Producing reports related to KPI, adhering to agreed deadlines.
The main purpose of the role is to provide financial support to management through the production of management and financial information.
You will ideally be studying towards ACCA/CIMA with a good level of experience with budgeting, cost control and management reporting. You must be confident and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Good IT skills including Excel are essential.
