My client, a growing organisation based in Kent, is recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to help further develop the business. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for full month end accounting, including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
You will also prepare management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet, with detailed commentary and analysis. In additional, you will prepare monthly KPIs and VAT validation checks and VAT returns.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in accounting and studying towards their AAT, ACCA or CIMA. This is a key role within a small team so you must be a strong team player with excellent communication and analytical and problem solving and skills. Days and hours are somewhat flexible for this position
