Our client, a growing business based in West Kent, is currently recruiting for an Accounts Supervisor/Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with all-around accounts experience to take on a pivotal role in the business where you will be able to progress. This role takes responsibility for running the purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control in addition to:
-Supervision of the Credit Controller, and Accounts and Purchasing Assistant
-Responsible for sales ledger, managing the invoicing process and overseeing the credit control function to ensure that debtor balances are promptly settled
-Responsible for integrity of purchase ledger and preparing all payments to our suppliers in a timely fashion
-Processing payments on to the cashbook and petty cash, and completing bank reconciliations throughout the month
-Preparation of the daily cash flow forecast
-Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end preparation, review and reconciliation of Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepayments, Stock and Sales figures
The successful candidate will ideally have supervision experience and the ability to communicate at all levels. Our client will consider a studier, and for the right individual study support may be offered.
