You will be reporting to Management Accountant that has been with the business for over 18 years and who is still passionate about their role, the business and their team.

Your new role
As an Assistant Cost Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Management Team through presenting financial performance, financially evaluating opportunities and supporting the business units to deliver financial objectives, managing standard costs of new products, reviewing and analysing standard costs for existing products, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, processing journals, accruals and prepayments, some elements of statutory accounts.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role it has been suggested you are to have at least 2 years' experience within a similar role. Excel is crucial to this role so you are required to be at an Intermediate level meaning you will be confident performing V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and Sumif's. You must either part- qualified or equivalent CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
