Finance Business Partner

We are currently working with a division of the NHS who are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner for a 3 month initial contract based in their office in Hereford.

The role is tasked to offer market leading financial support service.

Accountabilities include:
- Contribute to the delivery of financial information as part of month end
- Responsible for the production of statutory returns and Annual Accounts, together with a comprehensive suite of working papers, including attendance at Audit Committee meetings.
- Manage the Finance Analyst team to achieve month end reporting, statutory reports and Annual Accounts as above.
- Responsible for the cash management records and forecasting of the cash flow requirements, including monitoring cash balances, payment run authorisation, completion of monthly cash drawdown requests.
- Carry out in-year analysis and monitoring of performance against plans, thereby assisting with delivery of targets and objectives.
- Ensure a robust system of financial control is in place and evidence to support in delivering service auditing requirements
- Support with annual budget setting
- Responsible for the review of reconciliations / control accounts
- Support financial governance processes, including contributing to a comprehensive suite of finance policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with strong experience of finance business partnering, ideally within an NHS environment.

Experience within budgeting, forecasting and analysis is essential.
