As part of a small team this position is pivotal in that management and reporting of the financial results Multi-million pound, PFI style government contracts. You will be providing financial advice and recommendations to Senior Management and the Operational heads of each project team.
The responsibilities will range from financial reporting, financial modelling, investment appraisal, statutory reporting, as well as various ad-hoc analyses as and when required. Reporting directly the Head of Commercial and the FD the role will include but not be limited to:
- Through reporting and analysis, understanding the key drivers of financial performance to drive future improvements in results.
Developing reporting tools to enable greater understanding of project costs
Bottom-Up budgeting & forecasting process for all major contracts
- Development and maintenance of financial models to track contract performance
You will be:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
- Degree educated
- 3-5 years in a relevant commercial finance environment
- Advanced Excel (Financial Modelling)
- Stakeholder management
- Demonstrated business partnering ability
