Our client is a global family of private equity and fund investment vehicles spanning Europe, the Americas and Asia. They have invested over £5billion since 2005. The firm focuses its investment activities in businesses under £250m in enterprise value spanning special situations, buy outs and fund investing. Due to organic growth they would like to appoint a new Senior Fund Accountant.
Job Description:
- Daily management of the private equity funds
- Preparation of carried interest and management fee calculations in accordance with the fund documentation
- Preparation of quarterly accounts and capital statements
- Preparation of the investor’s drawdowns and distributions
- Preparation of audited annual financial statements
- Liaise with auditors, lawyers and tax advisors
- Liaise closely with members of other team in the company
- Investment transactions support as required
- Implementing improvements in the financial reporting process
- Ad hoc queries
Skills/Experience:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Strong IT/ system skills
- Consistently work accurately under pressure
- Previous PE experience and knowledge
- Sound understanding of applicable laws, regulations and rules
- Attention to detail
- Strong team player
