Deputy Controller

Assistant Controller - £60,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits, West Berkshire

Wade Macdonald is partnering with a global Hi Tech organisation who is recruiting for an Assistant Controller. The organisation is currently undergoing a business transition and this new opportunity with support the International Controllership activities to a new Shared Service function. Reporting directly to the International Controller, the Assistant Controller will play a key part in ensuring accurate reporting of the International finance performance under US GAAP.

Key responsibilities will including supporting the International Controller in planning & implementing the transition of the International Controlling activities. You will manage the end-to-end closing and reporting process and oversee the preparation of the monthly financial reporting packs, balance sheet reviews and quarterly reporting schedules. Duties will also include overseeing the accounting for US GAAP revenue, working closely with the Technical Accounting team to ensure the correct rules are applied. Plan and contribute in country Balance Sheet reviews and quarterly Balance Sheet review with Corporate.

Candidates applying for this role with hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA), with excellent working knowledge of US GAAP accounting. Our client seeks a talented professional who has worked as part of a finance transition and able to build strong relationships working collaboratively. You will have previous exposure to SOX compliance and experience in consolidation and group reporting.
