Head of Finance based in the City for a Retail brand £75-90k + bonus + benefits

Your new company
A luxury retail brand based in the London City is recruiting a Head of Finance. As the Head of Finance you will be given overall responsibility for the all elements of the financial control, financial risk and cash management of the brand. Across all elements of the role, the Head of Finance will act as a key leader and challenge, constantly looking to dive improvements in processes, controls and commercial insights. This role reports into the Finance Director.


Your new role
Key responsibilities include:

• Drive and attend budgetary cost control meetings with head office cost centre managers to ensure adherence to Budgets
• Team management of 15 with 4 direct reports
• Identifying cost saving initiatives and driving profitability
• Oversee the production of monthly reporting, both internally and Group reporting
• Group consolidation and liaison with external auditors as required
• Co-ordinate all aspects of planning and preparation for the interim and year-end audit and reporting, including the Group consolidation and liaison with external auditors as require

What you'll need to succeed
-Qualified Accountant ACA with a practice trained background.
-Strong experience from operating in a similar role
-Retail sector experience a necessity, along with multi-site experience and an understanding of VAT matters
-Ability and desire to drive change and add value to the business
-The maturity to manage, develop and motivate an ambitious team
