Title: Reporting and Compliance Analyst
Based: Bracknell
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + 10% bonus
Level: Probably fairly newly qualified

Overview
Our client is recruiting for a Reporting & Compliance Analyst to be responsible for ensuring our client contract terms are reflected correctly in the financial accounts and in line with statutory requirements, with a particular focus on the accounting for revenue, reporting performance, supporting with budgeting and cost versus revenue margin analysis. You will be working closely with the commercial team to understand the contractual terms, the accounting team on how/when invoices are raised as well as other operational teams to understanding fully the payment cycles and processes. The role is responsible for ensuring client contract terms are reflected correctly in the financial accounts and in line with statutory requirements, with a particular focus on the accounting for revenue, reporting performance, supporting with budgeting and cost versus revenue margin analysis.
You will also lead the development of our clients financial reporting including working with operations and finance to deliver first class forecasting and budgeting in this area.

Responsibilities
Duties include…
* Reviewing all contracts from a financial accounting perspective to ensure revenue is recognised appropriately and in the correct period.
* Cost versus revenue analysis.
* Ensuring the VAT treatment on all transactions is appropriate.
* Monthly financial performance reporting for EMEA by country and contract.
* Support EMEA commercial team with any global reporting requirements
* To assist with the production of periodic projections and budgets.
* To assist in the consolidation of the annual budgets prior to sending to the US.
* EMEA Finance Lead on the invoicing project.
* Support with the review of balance sheets.
* In conjunction with the Group Accountant to co-ordinate the audit of EMEA.
* Ad hoc financial analysis and investigative tasks.
* Carrying out of such ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager.

Knowledge
* Hyperion Reporting Solutions / HFM experience
* Advanced Excel.
