Interim Finance Business Partner

Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for a large and well established not for profit organisation based in Northamptonshire, that are looking to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner, to fit into a strong, dynamic and highly motivated team for a period of six months, with the potential to become permanent.

The main responsibilities of the Interim Finance Business Partner are to assist in liaising with other heads of departments and service areas, in supporting the development and delivery of budgets and forecasting. There is a key duty for making accounting adjustments to budgets at the end of the financial year within deadlines; supporting the finance staff with new initiatives and decision analysis. You will provide support on new implemented strategies that will aim to enable cost saving and avoidance, as well as monitor proposals that will impact the financial status of the charity.

The post holder needs to be driven and motivated, with a flexible approach to make a contributing effort to support the team. Having excellent communication skills and strong management accounting experience is required and the ability to confidently present the outcome of budget meetings in a clear manner. Strong analytical and interpretive skills with the ability to work in a diplomatic manner is essential. You will need to have previous business partnering experience within the not for profit sector in order to apply for this role.
