Assistant Accountant

This Global Organisation with its head quarters on the Wirral is looking to add an Assistant Accountant to its already impressive Finance team.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller this is an excellent all-encompassing role and a brilliant opportunity for a studying accountant looking for a developing role were they can qualify, take on additional responsibility and progress their level within the business.

Responsibilities include:
 

• Assisting in the production of Monthly Management Accounts including journals, accruals & prepayments.
• Purchase ledger duties including posting supplier invoices, preparation of the weekly payments list, posting payments to the Quickbooks bank account and reconciling supplier statements.
• Monthly Bank Reconciliations
• Scanning and archiving
• Month end Journals
• Posting weekly cash received
• Daily banking
• Assisting the team on commissions received administration

This is a rare and impressive opportunity for an accountant to be able to add real value to a innovative organisation, which has offices in the US, France, Netherlands, South Africa and New Zealand. My client is looking for someone who is hands on and has excellent analytical skills and can work well as part of a hands on finance team. The ideal candidate will have all round accounts experience and will be ideally studying AAT or already qualified AAT and have experience assisting with Management Accounts.

Experience using Quick-books and Financial Servcies experience will also be advantageous.
