Payroll Administrator

Temporary to permanent role - expanding company - exclusive to Hays

Your new company
Medium-sized £30million turnover business are recruiting for a payroll administrator to join their friendly and expanding team in the North Cambridge region. Currently, there are 7 different payrolls which you will be assisting with, encompassing 3000 employees on a monthly basis.

Your new role
Day to day as a payroll administrator, you will be inputting hours, processing timesheets, setting up starters and leavers, assisting with Auto Enrolment, pension administration, liaising with HMRC, undertaking manual calculations (SSP, SMP and SPP etc), generating payslips and amending tax codes. You will be assisting with process improvements and system upgrades, as well as day to day administration and other finance tasks as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need knowledge of payroll administration and functions, as well as previous experience in a similar role as a payroll administrator.
