A rapidly growing advisory firm located in central London is looking to bolster its team of IFRS project consultants to assist on large scale and high profile projects. This role will put you in a client facing project management position in which you will be providing technical advice, impact analysis and support on various IFRS standards changes.

The responsibilities of this IFRS project consultant will include:

  • Manage the implementation of IFRS programmes
  • Lead consultancy project on IFRS conversion
  • Completing client impact assessments on key IFRS changes such as IFRS 15 & 16
  • Production of detailed project plan
  • Production of audit committee recommendations and technical papers
  • Working closely with the client to ensure the project plan is adhered to and work flow is managed
  • Provision of support and training to finance teams to ensure the long term change programme is maintained
  • Advise and work with lawyers to ensure various business contract adhere to correct accounting policies
  • Management of key upcoming IFRS changes such as IFRS 9, 15 & 16
  • Engagement with clients on a regular basis and work closely with their senior technical finance team

The key requirements for this IFRS project consultant will include:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent
  • Previous project management of large IFRS or FRS projects
  • Knowledge or previous project experience with IFRS 9,15 or 16
  • IFRS project experience in Financial services or telecommunications
  • Strong advisory communication
  • Timely management of work flow and maintaining project deadlines
  • Prepared to travel to clients for various projects
