Plant Accountant

Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Plant Accountant for a large multinational manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This Plant Accountant position will report to the Financial Controller but will also involve working closely with the Head of FP&A (EMEA & Asia Pac), the global CFO, various Operations Managers and the global shared service centre in the US. Responsibilities will include; month end analysis, costs analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, product profitability analysis, inventory control and stock count supervision, business modelling, acquisition integration and general commercial support to the production teams.

You must have prior experience in the manufacturing sector and also have used SAP before to be considered for this role. Good communication skills and excel skills are a given.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a growing multinational manufacturing business in a highly commercial finance position. You will have lots of exposure to senior level managers and directors around the business. There will be occasional project work including acquisition integration and you will have the opportunity to travel to other offices around the world (EU and US).

This Plant Accountant role is paying £45K-£50K depending on experience plus bonus, pension and benefits.
