Elevation Senior Finance are currently supporting a well-known national business as they seek to appoint an experienced Senior Payroll Manager. This complex, multi-site business has a payroll of over 4000 staff (both weekly and monthly paid) and is currently entering in to an exciting period of change. Their payroll function is going through a transformation phase as they develop systems, processes and standards across the business and are looking for the Senior Payroll Manager to lead this process.

This varied and challenging role will include the following key responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain accurate payroll systems, processes, guidelines, policies, timetables and controls.
- Ensure the payroll is processed and submitted to tight deadlines
- Ensure the payroll payments and deductions are calculated accurately
- Work closely with the pensions department, payroll provider and payroll team to ensure compliance across all areas
- Business partner with Operational Managers across the business to ensure compliance and understanding of new processes and systems

My client feels this role would best suit an ambitious and driven CIPP qualified payroll professional who has experience of managing change and leading projects. This role will have exposure to a wide range of senior staff within this business and will give the incumbent the chance to develop their skills and progress their career in a fast paced and dynamic working environment.
