Commercial Project Manager required to support international engineering business with project delivery.
Based in the UK the Commercial Project Manager will take responsibility for the commercial aspects of the projects to include:
- Take responsibility of the commercial and financial aspects of major large scale projects.
- Liaising externally with customers to understand & manage risks & issues to the projects and contracts.
- Negotiate contracts with customers
- Understand and report on material impact to Financial Reporting, effects on P&L and Balance Sheet based on changing requirements from customers and project deliverables.
- Ensure international duties/ tax payable for movement of goods through EEC is factored into the projects and managed effectively reducing cost where appropriate.
Requirements
You will be an experienced project manager who has negotiated contracts externally with customers for large scale infrastructure projects.
You will have experience of owning the P&L/ Balance sheet associated to the project and know in detail how it is affected with multi-currency fluctuations, hedging and EEC duties payable.
You will have understanding of consolidated financial reporting -whilst you do not need to produce the financial reports in this position you will have oversight of their production so will need to know they are accurate.
