You will be working for a well-established independent firm in Salisbury town centre

Your new role
You will be providing a high quality professional service to a wide range of businesses, working with and supporting other members of the team. This will include working closely with the partners on a variety of work to include accounts preparation to final stages, tax computations, management accounts preparation, assisting with VAT returns and offering clients support and advice as required throughout the year. Regular communication with partners, other team members and clients will be an essential part of the role, ensuring that issues are dealt with effectively and efficiently.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will be highly experienced within an accountancy practice (ideally at least 4 years practical experience in a general practice) and could be part-qualified or fully qualified ACA or ACCA. You will have excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong client relationships, along with excellent practical knowledge and experience of accounts preparation, tax and payroll ideally with working knowledge of Sage and Xero. You will need to be able to plan and organise your time, prioritising work and delegating as required to more junior staff.
