A technically competent and meticulous Group Financial Accountant with a track record of working within a large business experiencing significant, transformational change and the ability to support the drive of this change is required for a 6 month contract based in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large organisation and be an integral part of a dynamic finance team.
The Group Financial Accountant will support Group Finance which has rapidly grown and still undergoing transformational change. Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidating and reporting the Group's financial results in accordance with IFRS
- Delivering process improvement initiatives for the monthly Group consolidation process
- Producing accurate and timely information for both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining and improving the consolidation system
- Maintaining and improving the control framework and control environment over the consolidation submission process
The Group Financial Accountant will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong knowledge of IFRS. You will also have excellent communication skills to manage and influence senior stakeholders.
