Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting a Finance and HR Officer to join the National Children's Bureau in Islington, London. This is an exciting role assisting the corporate services department ensuring they operate in an efficient manner.
This role follows an internal restructure and where responsibilities will be two-thirds finance and one-third HR. The candidate will screen and post all sales ledger and purchase ledger transactions, monitor cash flow and maintain credit-control. This role will have sole ownership of the HR system, adding new members, training staff on it as well as calculating absences, holidays and maternity leave. The person will process payroll, support project teams, provide administration support for recruitment and answer all finance queries from staff.
The successful candidate will need to work in a complex organisation liaising with both financial and non-financial staff. This role requires someone who can use their initiative, pay close attention to detail by producing accurate work and be an effective communicate. It is essential that candidates have experience in general ledger, HR and payroll. Candidates from all backgrounds are welcome and must be a part-qualified accountant or keen to study their qualification. This role will be interviewing before the deadline so it is advised that candidates apply early.
