Financial Controller

Your new company - A Mental Health and Learning Disabilities service provider is looking for a Financial Controller to join them at an exciting time of growth and development. The income of the organisation currently stands at £32 million and there are plans to grow this consistently over the next couple of years.

Your new role - The Financial Controller will work closely with the Finance Director to and will lead the organisations financial accounting, reporting and control activities across the group of companies ensuring they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice. You will be developing and leading a strong Finance team across the specific areas of your responsibilities as well as building and sustaining excellent relationships with colleagues across other disciplines at all levels of seniority.

What you'll need to succeed - To be successful in this position you will be a qualified accountant with demonstrable experience of a senior finance role and in consolidated group accounts for a complex organisation. You will have managed a team of at least 3 people and will have excellent communication skills. Candidates with experience in the not for profit sector will be at an advantage but we would also like to hear from people outside of the sector.
