My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Tax Manager to head up the tax operation for their Devon based business. This is a rare opportunity to join a successful organisation in a senior tax capacity within the confines of Devon. The main purpose of the role is to oversee:
- All aspects of the organisations` Tax
- Management of the Tax team
- Minimise Tax related risks
- Liaise with various department heads & internal stake holders
- Contribute towards strategic planning decisions
- Oversee policy and practice of application of VAT and other relevant taxes
- Contribute to strategic planning decisions
You will be a qualified accountant with contemporaneous experience of UK corporation tax, VAT, and treasury management, ideally gained in a large practice or technically complex organisation. There is an excellent salary & benefits package available ( £75 - £85k + *) depending on previous sector experience, technical knowledge and familiarity. *Package comprises : basic salary, performance bonus, car allowance, excellent pension & holidays, healthcare and fringe benefits.
