Investments Accountant

I am working with a charity who has functions across Wales and are headquartered in the heart of Cardiff. Due to a restructure they are recruiting for an accountant who is responsible for organising, co-ordinating and supervising the work associated with the administration of investments, special trusts and rents.

If you would like to join a growing organisation who are undergoing a period of commercialisation in a position that will see you:

• developing and maintaining an effective financial strategy
• co-ordinating and producing detailed financial forecasts, budgets, management accounts and statutory accounts
• day-to-day administration and control of all income and expenditure
• managing the investment portfolio
• managing the special trusts through the Common Investment Fund
• the administration of salaries, stipends and pensions
• Providing general financial advice to the different functions

This role offers more than just a typical finance role, this position will strongly develop business partnering skills both with the different departments in the organisation and with key stakeholders of business that work alongside the organisation.
