Commercial Finance Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a Commercial and Operational Analyst, to work with one of Doncaster's leading businesses. Working as a key team player within a Commercial Finance team, this role will involve in-depth manipulation of data and analysis of information from the business to create solutions and develop pricing, rebate and costing data to move the business forward and reduce risk.

You will manage a small team of early stages part qualified accountants and will be responsible for interfacing with business functions and sales teams/ directors to influence business decisions and strategy. You will also be responsible for managing and performing detailed variance analysis to measure and interpret data, manage and evaluate pricing models, NPD support and promotions analysis. You will work closely with sales teams to negotiate and manage contracts, financial modelling support for new bids and tenders, managing the ROI.

To be considered for this role you will already have experience of working in a similar role with a proven track record in problem solving through effective analytic skills. Exceptional numeracy and attention to detail are also essential. A high level of IT skills is also essential especially in Advanced Excel and ERP systems.

Candidates will also be newly qualified or later stages part qualified CIMA/ACCA and have a sound background in a commercial accounting role within a medium to large organisation.
