My Client a Global Consultancy Business in Central London is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their Head Office Team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the Finance Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Managing the headcount reporting process. Reporting on, and forecasting the headcount for London and several other smaller offices. Consolidating information and co-ordinating with HR on issues such as Recruiting and Mobility.
  • Analyse recruiting data and prepare relevant presentations for HR.
  • Prepare detailed compensation budget for Consulting and Support Staff on an annual basis, review monthly compensation charges and produce variance analysis for the Finance Manager.
  • Take part in the Month End Close process, this will include the preparation of accruals, prepayments, various cost allocations and other general adjustments
  • Analyse and review the monthly HR department reports (Training, Staffing, Mobility, Recruiting, Personnel) and meet regularly with department heads to discuss their results and any additional reporting requirements that they may have
  • Participate in the annual planning process and assist your department heads in producing detailed budgets.
  • Be the point of contact for the Corporate Finance Office (approx. 20 staff) helping to prepare the annual budget and dealing with monthly reporting requirements
  • Be responsible for answering a number of ad hoc requests for analysis on a monthly basis as you build your network in the London Office.

You will be highly analytical, a real number cruncher who wants to challenge the numbers.

You MUST have experience of using Microsoft Access and be familiar with preparing

presentations using PowerPoint.

A professional services background would be preferred but is not essential.

You will be CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified/Newly Qualified

This role will pay 35-50k dependent on level of experience and qualification. This role also offers a generous benefits package.
