Risk and Assurance Manager

My client are a world leader in the aerospace industry. The organisation and support structure of Finance is being strengthened to deliver the sustainable profitability for the future. Privately owned, their group sales are in excess of £100m providing manufacturing, supply chain management and project management capabilities to many global aerospace companies. They are looking for a confident and talented senior risk professional to join the business and drive change.

They will be given primary responsibility for providing assurance to the Board and Audit Committee that there are effective governance controls and processes operating throughout the business and that best practice is shared as appropriate.

Ideally, you will possess:

• Recognised formal accountancy qualification;
• Previous experience in working in an Audit or Control environment in a large business / PLC;
• Ability to implement change and drive process change throughout the organisation;
• Highly motivated individual with a passion for success;
• Credibility and a proven ability to drive and deliver a robust control environment;
• Technically strong in IFRS/FRS/Auditing Standards
• Highly IT literate;
