Assistant Accountant, Watford
£28,000 - £35,000 plus Bonus plus Excellent Benefits

We are currently working alongside a rapidly growing organisation to source a Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant. This is genuinely an exceptional opportunity and a chance to gain a real breadth of experience in a small, but growing, business.

This is a key role in an ambitious, fast moving and fast growing business that requires a dynamic individual who will hit the ground running.
You will be responsible for the completion and reviewing of management and statutory accounts.

Main responsibilities:
- Completely Quarterly management accounts and VAT Returns
- Responding to queries via phone/email
- Assisting team members where required
- Completing statutory company accounts
- Reviewing the work of junior members of the team
- Liaising with HMRC and Companies house
- Completing some book keeping
- Ensuring all VAT Returns and management accounts are prepared within deadlines
- Preparing VAT Returns and accounts
- Calculating tax liabilities

The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a real drive to succeed and overcome any obstacle presented to them. You will be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified with experience in preparing and reviewing management accounts and VAT Returns. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills as well as experience preparing statutory company accounts. You will have excellent communications skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your work load.
