Outstanding Career Opportunity for a 1st/2nd time mover ACA (possibly ACCA)to join our client - a £45m t/o rapidly expanding division of a FTSE 100 Group - as Finance Manager in a new role created by ongoing business expansion and succession planning. With the company growing at a rate of 20% year on year, through both organic growth and acquisition, the FD is moving to more of a commercial/strategic role meaning this role has been created to manage the team of 2 Accounts Assistants and take responsibility for a broad range of finance duties including:

  • Full preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Year End Statutory Accounts
  • Business Partnering with operations teams up to Director level
  • Board pack and Management Information production
  • Sales/Margin reporting
  • Standard Costing
  • Cost centre Reporting
  • Fixed Assets control
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Overseeing Purchase/Sales Ledger, Payroll and Credit control
  • Stock Reporting
  • Year End Audits

Applicants will be Qualified ACA or ACCA - or later stage active studiers - who are looking to make a first move from an Accounts Practice into industry, or a 2nd time mover ACAs who is looking to move into this profile of role. Applicants will preferably be educated to degree level and applicants who have qualified as a Chartered Accountant with one of the top 4 accountancy firms will be of particular interest. You will be charismatic with excellent written and oral communication skills in order to liaise, support, persuade and influence with colleagues at the highest level across the business. Good computer literacy is essential, particularly MS Excel and previous experience of MS Dynamics Navision would be advantageous.
