Group Financial Accountant - City of London
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus Car plus Excellent Benefits

Our client, an organisation that continues to evolve along with market trend and establish itself as a true industry leader in its specialist field, is looking to source a confident, credible and highly driven Group Financial Accountant to join its team.

The Group Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring a high level of performance and accuracy and assuming control and responsibility for all accountancy aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities,
- Planning the programme of balance sheet review visits and designing testing approach
- Managing the group's quarterly balance sheet substantiation process and performing quality checks on returns
- Analysing work capital KPI's on a monthly basis to identify and investigate variances to expectation
- Provide analysis of the balance sheet accounts and key variances by country at half year end
- Performing spot checks and audits on month end reconciliations of key accounts, with verification to the underlying accounting systems
- Deep dives on specific accounts
- Assessment of segregation of duties and review processes
- Responding to ad-hoc queries regarding reporting entity balance sheets
- Appropriately assessing potential findings for significance and communicating findings and recommendations to a senior individual

The successful candidate will be ACA Top 20 Qualified Accountant with excellent academics and 1 to 2 year's post qualified experience. You will have experience challenging explanations and support provided by finance teams. You will be confident and have experience consolidating business units' results at an international level. You will have the ability to write reports and work across all levels and functions under own initiative in a highly pressured environment. You will be ambitious and be able to interact effectively at all levels. There will be travel involved as part of the role.
