Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Head of Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis.

The Role:- Has full responsibility for the finance function within the business, including the production and control of all financial reporting and overseeing of all commercial negotiations of the business. Liaising with UK and Global management teams to ensure that timely and useful management information is provided to senior managers & directors.
The role reports to the Group Finance Controller and will have responsibilities for the development & completion of monthly KPI's to measure business growth and trends to support the business decision making process. Provide detailed commentary and analysis on market performance and financial support to mergers and acquisitions. Preparation of related analysis of costs and variances, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow headings. Driving operational changes, commercial reviews, proposals and margins performance. Recommending and implementing processes and procedures to ensure management information is world class. Approve distribution, pricing and Inventory costs, trend/competitor analysis, independent operational reviews, adding expertise and knowledge across the business units. Supporting strategic planning/pricing initiatives and special projects
The Person:- A qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with at least 3-5 years previous experience in a significant operational FP & A role. With a high level of spreadsheet modelling, strong communication skills with the confidence and credibility to interact with senior management.
Ability to work to tight timescales whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.You will need to take early ownership and have the presence and gravitas to manage business relationships across the group, comfortable being ' at the coal face' challenging sales, operations and senior executives on all commercial business issues and decision making areas. An eye for detail a diplomatic and confident business partner, strong system skills knowledgeable at extracting data and knowing where to find it.
Proven leadership skills demonstrated through integrity and reasoned argument, comfortable influencing senior management on critical issues and taking decisive action where required. to achieve operational targets.
