Reed Finance have joined partnership with a successful local authority in Southend who are seeking a new senior finance professional to help grow and develop their organisation.
The role will sit in the financial planning and control team and will assist senior management with the management and financial administration of areas such as VAT, the banking and cash collection services, treasury management and the income management system in addition to areas of control and compliance.
The ideal and successful candidate will be fully CCAB qualified with the ability to operate within many levels throughout the organisation. Excellent communications skills and a proactive attitude are essential requirements here in addition to team supervisory experience. The role contains a high degree of compliance and audit knowledge, therefore an accountancy practice background will certainly be advantageous.
