Head of Finance

An established FMCG organisation who are part of a market leading international group are seeking to add to their team a Head of Finance who can provide commercial and financial support to the senior leadership team. The division currently T/O circa £5-10m and are seeking to grow this significantly over the next 5 years.

This is a great opportunity of a forward thinking finance professional who wants to be part of a growing division and take a leading role in the business plan.

Your duties shall include;
- Working with leadership team, and providing key financial analysis, and data to support the business
- Leading both the forecasting, and budgeting processes - whilst monitoring performance against budgets monthly.
- Working with the leadership team to take remedial action where necessary, and developing commercial solutions
- Management of a team of 3 and maintaining the general ledger, stock, fixed assets, banking, intercompany, and petty cash.
- Responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations and month end processes
- Identifying and improving procedures
- Overseeing the financial reporting - ensuring all policies and controls are document and compliant with group policies
- Weekly working capital and P&L forecasts
- Monthly management accounts and preparation of annual statutory accounts and tax pack

This is an ideal role for;
- A Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Strong communicator and leadership skills
- Someone who is both analytical and able to influence, and wants to be part of a growth story
- Someone who is comfortable working in a non-corporate environment
- Experience of leading a team
