Head of Commercial Finance

Our client is a private equity backed consultancy providing services to companies with an international footprint. Their area of expertise includes analysis of product, business development strategy, research and development guidance and competitor intelligence. Key responsibilities for this role will include –

Business Management
•    Implements processes to produce KPI’s to monitor and evaluate project performance, including project and account profitability 
•    Regularly monitors KPI’s and provides useful reports for operational and functional leaders 
•    Partners with managers to provide helpful analysis of KPI’s and support decision making 
•    Designs and oversees a forecasting process to ensure the business has as accurate a picture as possible regarding future revenue
•    Identifies business levers and makes recommendations to leadership to drive profitability 

Financial Reporting
•    Works with the Finance team to prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow statements and analysis, and reports for the Group audit

Operations
•    Manages and leads the Finance team
•    Develops and implements operational best practices to drive business efficiency and cost control
•    Ensures compliance with all tax requirements within the UK and internationally, working with tax advisors
 

You will be a qualified accountant with demonstrable experience of working within growing entrepreneurial businesses. You will have the gravitas to influence and communicate with board members, have lots of energy and exceptional organisation skills.
