Financial Analyst job for a qualified Accountant within a growing national business

Based in Glasgow city centre our client, a leading national service sector business has a unique job opportunity for a qualified accountant to join them as Financial Analyst.

Your new role

The purpose of the role is to provide ongoing strategic support to the Finance Director and Executive team through ensuring accurate and timely information is available when required to support business decisions, and providing insight to current business performance and future developments.
Your responsibilities will be varied and include; investment appraisal analysis, investor reporting and financial modelling, including projections and cash flows . Furthermore you will take a lead role with any M&A projects and deal with ad hoc management information requests .

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ideally CA qualified with Big 4 training) with previous experience of working within corporate finance and have gained significant M&A and financial modelling experience. Ideally candidates will have trained within a Big 4 CA firm, however this is not essential as applications will also be considered from candidates with FP&A and financial modelling experience. You will demonstrate superior commercial acumen and the ability to deal with senior stakeholders and to manage ad hoc requests and changing priorities.

Furthermore you will demonstrate superior analytical and financial modelling skills a challenging approach and the ability to deliver robust financial data and management information to meet business needs and support strategic decision making.
