Controls & Compliance Manager

My Client an International Multi Media Business has a newly created vacancy in their London head office for a Controls and Compliance Manager reporting directly into the Finance Director

Main Responsibilities will include:
*Document and maintain the core set of control procedures and policies across the organisation
*Ensure controls are communicated and sufficient explanations and training is provided
*Focus on continuous improvement, process efficiency's and internal controls, and work with the wider finance team to develop process enhancements
*Manage and co-ordinate the internal controls audits and ad hoc internal management audits. Own and deliver against any resulting action plans promptly
*Act as point of contact for Group compliance officers and build robust relations to ensure efficient flow of information and communications.

The ideal candidate will hold an accountancy or audit qualification and hold a degree. Experience of working with Sarbanes Oxley, with an understanding and knowledge of control frameworks and evaluating a sufficient suite of controls and developing documenting such controls is essential. Experience of working in an international company and across multiple international markets. You will also be a good communicator and be able to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Media or TV experience is desirable but not essential.
