Part Time Financial Controller - Three Days a Week.

A market leading business based South of Guildford is working exclusively with Robert Half to recruit a Part Time Financial Controller to join a key division of their UK Finance Team.

Reporting directly into their Finance Director, the successful Part Time Financial Controller will be tasked with leading a small team and driving the continued improvement around monthly management accounts, financial controls, commercial output and financial processes.

This role has come about due to continued growth and would suit someone who is technical strong, loves being hands on enjoyed really rolling their sleeves up.

This role is paying £30,000 on a part time basis. On a full time basis this role is paying £50,000.

The Role

This is a really varied role and would suit someone who has worked in an all-encompassing SME accounting role.

Key responsibilities will involve managing a small finance team, looking after the month end process, overview the statutory accounting, management of the audit relationships, support the Finance Director on business case analysis and potential M&A actively, work with the Head of Finance to ensure the financial control and accounting processes are efficient and updated.

This is a very varied and hands on role, it will very much involve transational accounting, financial accounting, managing accounting and business partnering.

Based is lovely offices south of Guildford this will be joining a strong and capable existing team.

Your Profile

The successful Part Time Financial Controller is likely to be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified By Experience. Having a real desire to get involved in both commercial and technical accounting is key.

This is running the finance division for a fast growing SME which is part of a larger group.
