SF Group is currently on the look out for a Management Accountant for a client based in Solihull.
This opportunity will give you considerable responsibility within a prestigious and respected organisation local government in the Midlands. The initial offering is a temporary contract that last a minimum of 3 months but with the option to go permanent. The main responsibilities will include:
- Key role in improving budget setting/monitoring and forecasting
- Interpret and comply with financial regulations, other financial guidance and relevant requirements
- Manage the collection of a range of information, analyse, interpret, process and present for use by others
- Prepare financial reports, statements and spreadsheets
- Work with colleagues to facilitate the delivery of Service objectives
- Contributing to the setting and monitoring of the relevant budgets, long-term financial planning and changing the nature, level and composition of expenditure to meet service or other requirements
A successful candidate will have experience in local government, civil service or similar organisations; be qualified or a finalist and be confident in delivering presentations to senior members of staff.
