This international wholesale business is now recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a 'hands on' role.

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts & annual financial statements;
* Journal processing (month end & transactional);
* Bank reconciliations;
* Balance Sheet reconciliations;
* Deferred revenue;
* Fixed asset administration;
* Accruals & prepayments;
* Cash processing;
* Expenses processing;
* Intrastat & VAT submissions;
* Back-up for the Credit Controller/ Purchase Ledger Clerk;
* Various ad-hoc projects as required.
The Management Accountant will be called upon to provide back-up for the Financial Controller.

Essential Requirements:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience;
* Experience of the above duties in a similar role;
* Excel (i.e. maintaining existing spreadsheets, understanding & calculating excel formulae);
* Good analytical skills;
* Ability to work on own initiative;
* Ability to work with & support other members of the Finance Team;
