Large Trading Business based in Central London is seeking a Qualified Financial Accountant to join their Finance Team, initially for a 6 Month period.
Responsibilities:
- Interaction with overseas finance specialists
- Group consolidation of 13 global subsidiaries and 2 branches
- Production of Group and 3 UK subsidiary statutory accounts under UK GAAP
- Management of the month end and annual reporting process ensuring timely delivery of reporting
- Production of monthly board reports and other reporting packs for external stakeholders with written commentaries
- Monthly overhead variance analysis review and sign off for all group companies
- Production and reconciliation of the annual net revenue and overheads budget for all group companies and accompanying variance analysis tools
- Production of quarterly tax pack for the group and a number of overseas subsidiaries and review of other subsidiary's packs in accordance with FRS19. Liaison with external tax advisors during both tax planning and annual return finalisation stages
- Management of the annual audit process from engagement through to sign off
Requirements:
- ACA Qualified or equivilant
- Experience within (Statutory accounts, Group Consolidations and tax)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate relationships with key internal business partners
- Experience of SUN accounting system is highly advantageous
