Are you a qualified Financial Controller (ACA/ACCA) who has demonstrable experience of successfully managing global consolidations, international tax planning, transfer pricing, risk management and internal audit?

Working on behalf of Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group, Elevation Senior Finance are retained partners in the search for a technically astute, high calibre Group Financial Controller to add value to the senior management team and report directly into the Group Chief Financial Officer.

Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group employs over 2,500 staff, across 19 production sites and 20 sales service centres across the world ensuring they have become a market leader with global presence generating c$500mill of sales annually.

The Group Financial Controller will be pivotal in the creation and development of its financial control and compliance across their global footprint.

Due to the Group still being in its infancy stage, the Group Controller will be tasked with creating and implementing financial structure and control across the group through the provision of global consolidations, international tax planning and transfer pricing, risk management framework, internal audit and corporate governance.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this high profile role will also have regular interaction with the Executive Team in Belgium and be required to form close working relationships with the Regional Finance Directors across the world.

Core Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for the worldwide consolidation – ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Creation and management of International Tax Planning and Transfer Pricing
  • Implementation and execution of an Internal Audit Program
  • Creation and management of a Risk Management Framework
  • Oversee and understand international statutory requirements and reporting
  • Involvement within M&A research and transactions
  • Continuous improvement and streamlining of group financial processes and policies

Applicants will need to have a strong technical background and be able to demonstrate recent hands-on experience of completing the above duties.
