Finance Business Partner

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading organisation company based in the Nottinghamshire area.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical and commercial background.

Your main duties will include:

• Responsible for the day to day management, appraisals and development of a mix of qualified and part-qualified accountants
• Partnering with the business leaders to help them understand their revenue and cost drivers
• Ensuring month end procedures are performed accurately and effectively in line with divisional policies across the business unit
• Identify risk and opportunities and work with the business to deliver cost saving initiatives
• Ensuring MI processes are efficient and meet stakeholders’ needs and changing environment

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Large company background
• Strong people management and coaching skills
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships as you will be required to liaise with senior stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills including,  financial modelling and problem solving skills
• Strong drive to understand the commercial drivers of a business
• Proven ability to present ideas and opinions in a collaborative, credible and influential manner
• Strong knowledge and understanding of technical accounting issues
• Solid appreciation of management accounting, financial data management and reporting within a multinational organisation
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience working with Oracle and Hyperion would be advantageous but is not essential
