Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a successful and well established business in Rotherham. Due to a recent change in structure within the HR department, they are currently looking to recruit a Payroll and HR Administrator to join the team on a part time basis.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the company payroll as well as supporting the HR function with the integrity of HR data and records.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
*Deliver a full monthly payroll for 160 employees including RTI and Pension Auto Enrolment. Resolving payroll queries as necessary.
*To ensure timesheets are processed accurately
*Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including direct recruitment by the company and through agencies.
*Ensure all new recruits are provided with appropriate contracts of employment and associated policies
*Assist with the delivery of the HR element of the induction process and ensure that all employees undertake a full employee induction, chasing completion as necessary
*Arrange training, maintaining training records within the HR software system
*Ensure employee attendance is recorded accurately and correct
*Monitor holiday records within the HR software system to ensure compliance
*Provide managers with information on trends in absence, turnover, labour costs, as appropriate.
*Work on HR projects as directed
In order to be successful for this role, you will possess the following skills and experiences:-
*A thorough understanding of Payroll processes and procedures including
*Experience of working within HR team with an awareness of basic employment law
*Able to work independently and take control of own day/workload
*Customer focussed and an excellent communicator
*Ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are achieved
*Able to demonstrate an organised approach and attention to detail
*Outgoing, with the ability to engage with and relate to all employees
This role will suit someone who is an excellent communicator who has the initiative, drive and flexibility to identify and implement improved solutions. It is imperative you have a clear understanding of current payroll legislation.
