Part Qualified Assistant Accountant

My client, has an exciting opportunity for a part qualified/finalist Accountant to join their finance team.  You will be working closely with the Finance Manager and Management Accountant.  The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with all areas of the business gaining commercial experience in a fast paced environment. This role provides the opportunity to progress within a large, growing organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Month end management accounts reporting
• Margin analysis and overview
• Rebates calculations, queries and reporting, working closely with the business
• Month end accruals and prepayments
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Employee expenses analysis and accounting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assistance to the VAT Accountant
• SOX compliance testing and reporting
• Calculations for sales commissions
• Queries & communication with the business for sales commissions
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Various ad hoc duties as required

Role will suit a part qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.  You will have the ability to work well under pressure and good communication & team working skills.
