Financial Reporting Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well know media business who are experiencing high growth. You will be responsible for supporting the FC on group financial reporting and technical matters as well as having the opportunity to assist on a number of exciting ad hoc commercial projects within the organisation as it continues on its growth path.

You will own the year-end process of financial statements, support the Group FC on tax issues and liaise with the external tax advisors. With the support of the internal auditors, you will be responsible for improving the systems and controls that are in place with the current audit process, as well as supporting the wider finance function with project work.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant coming from practice or from industry that has experience of financial reporting, ideally within a plc. You will be able to troubleshoot problems, think dynamically as well as being a team player.
