My client operates out of prestigious modern offices located on the outskirts of Exeter. They are looking to appoint a part time Financial Controller: 3 days per week with flexibility on days, start and finish. There is also the potential in the future, to extend hours should you wish to. Salary is 40k pro rata to start. They are looking for a commercially aware candidate who can help them with their continuing growth. This is a very hands on role although the company mainly deal with low volume invoicing based on commissions and licences. They are looking for a an autonomous accountant who is strong, methodical, calm and proactive. More Specific duties include :
- Budgeting, Forecasting and cash flow analysis
- Production of monthly P&L accounts
- Management of Purchase and Sales Ledgers
- Monthly payroll
- Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Statutory Reporting
- Cost & Revenue analysis
- Identifying areas for improvement to finance processes and practices
